rem2018The whole school community was touched by an incredibly moving Remembrance Service in school today to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1. Year 6 delivered their speeches and poetry with such poise and dignity, and coupled with the heart-wrenching music, the service brought tears to many an eye. The children's war poems were breathtaking and they read them with passion and conviction. We were tremendously proud of them and grateful to the Year 6 parents who attended to witness their achievement. We were also extremely proud of all our children today as the whole school gathered in the playground to observe the two-minute silence. We were fortunate to have our very own Miss Taman and Freddie Bols, the trumpet teacher, to play such beautiful, moving music.
